Costus Igneus, Insulin plant is a medicinal plant and capable of having Magic Cure for Diabetes. Leaf of this herbal plant helps to build up insulin by strengthening beta cells of Pancreas in the Human body thus popularly known as “Insulin plant” in India 

 

Insulin plant can have a positive effect on blood sugar levels. It has natural concentration of Corosolic acid. Corosolic acid works in the metabolism of glucose process and acts like insulin thus reducing blood sugar levels by transporting glucose into cells and out of the bloodstream. This can be beneficial to anyone who has trouble with high blood sugar levels, and particularly to that in Diabetes patients.

In the Indian Traditional Medicine this herbal plant is also used to promote Long life, for treatments of skin problems,  to reduce fever, to treat asthma, Bronchitis  and to Eliminates intestinal worms. In the Indian traditional literature this plant is mentioned as an ingredient in a cosmetic to enhance the beauty of the eyelashes to give a nice look. 

HOW TO GROW:

Costus igneus plant grows very quickly. Propagation of this plant is by stem cutting. It needs sunshine but it also grows in slightly shady areas. Costus does not have a problem with pests and diseases. Outdoor plants might be chewed by caterpillars, and in indoors plants might be affected by red spider mite.

HOW TO USE:

The patient must chew and consume two leaves in the morning and two leaves in evening for the first 7 days. Then from the 8^th day one leaf in the morning and one leaf in the evening. This dosage should be continued for 30 days. 

1^st to 7^th day : 2 leave (Morning) & 2 leave (Evening)

8^th to 30^th Day : 1 leave (Morning) & 1 Leave (Evening)

The leaves must be CHEWED WELL before swallowing. After swallowing these leaves a little amount of water should be drank.

If it is difficult to get the fresh insulin leaves, dried leaves powder is also available commercially which you can easily purchase it at any time. Add the powder in the water, boil it well and after cooling consume the water two times a day, in the morning before on empty stomach and at night time before going to bed to get the desired effect. Thus insulin plant is the cheapest way to control blood sugar level within the period of one month.
