Types

3 MAIN TYPES OF DIABETES

1.      Type 1 Diabetes or Insulin Dependent Diabetes.

This type of Diabetes is alleged as a  result of the Beta Cells' inability to produce any Insulin or it's production in insufficient amount. So, the body needs external source of Insulin, by means of an injection, to regulate the Blood Glucose level. If the Pancreas has been removed or is atrophied then the condition is incurable.
2.      Type 2 Diabetes or Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes (Insulin Resistant Diabetes)

This type is the most common and affects millions of people all over the world. In this type the body Cells have become "resistant" to the Insulin action and thus the Glucose are unable to enter the Cells for energy productions. As a result the patient is lethargic and becomes exhausted quickly.

In this type there is sufficient production of Insulin but the cells have become resistant to the Insulin. This results in abnormally high rise of blood glucose in the blood stream which in turn triggers the Pancreas to release more Insulin. This is a vicious cycle that damages all organs of the body and manifests in the conditions known as Type 2 Diabetes, Retinopathy (Blindness), Neuropathy (Damage of Nerves), Nephropathy (Kidney Failure), cardio-Vascular diseases etc.

The excessive unutilized glucose are also store as Glycogens and Fats. This causes Obesity in Diabetics. It is not obesity that causes Diabetes. Rather, it is Diabetes that causes Obesity.

Fortunately, diabetes Type 2 is curable by Alternative System. It is incurable under Conventional Method.

3.      Gestational Diabetes.

This type affects pregnant women in their late pregnancy after the baby’s body parts have been formed. Usually, women who has suffered this type are more susceptible to other type of diabetes.
